Glenwood Ave Arts Fest 2013
This year's Glenwood Ave Arts Fest was another great success! I love this fest so much. Amazing people, wonderful artists, and just so much fun. How can you not love a fest where a fantastic dandy who looks like one of my paintings strolls into your tent.

Glenwood Arts Fest

(view of the Glenwood Arts Fest from the Morse Red Line stop)
I had a great time at the art fest. It was so much fun meeting the other artists involved in the show and seeing four of my gentleman paintings on display.
Many of my friends came out to show their support and I greatly appreciate that. Lewis Lain, the curator of the ARTery show was so supportive and encouraging, I can't thank him enough for including me in the show.
I'm thinking next year I may decide to rent a tent space for the weekend. I love the people in Rogers Park. This art fair has an accessibility and grittiness to it that I love.

First Show!!

I was accepted to show 4 paintings in the Glenwood Ave. Arts Fest in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago the weekend of August 21 and 22nd. I am very excited to be part of this show. The curator gave me the best compliment I could ever get when he described my Gentleman paintings as "oddly fascinating".
