I am excited to be part of the 2012 RavensHood Juried Art Exhibition at Images Gallery Cooperative. The gallery is located at 1823 West Wilson Avenue in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. Opening reception is June 2, 2012.
I began painting in late 2009 after taking a class at Lill Street Studios in Chicago. It was the jump start I needed to get serious about painting and continue to teach myself.
Since then I have created a dedicated studio space at home and have been fortunate to have shown some of my work around Chicago.
The process of continuing to improve and grow as a painter is hugely satisfying and I am excited to see where it takes me.
